The naturally beautiful Datca peninsula is recommended not only by the high oxygen content of the air and the cool summer nights. It invites to hiking, cycling, surfing or boat trips into the picturesque bays. The typical giant plane trees, the three B's - AAAAA (almonds), balik (fish) and bal (honey), the crystal clear sea water and mountains characterise the area and make it a paradise that has been largely spared from mass tourism. The ancient Knidos is located at the tip of the peninsula. The ancient Greek historian and geographer Strabo wrote about Knidos, it was a city that was built for the most beautiful of the goddesses, Aphrodite, on the most beautiful of peninsulas of the Earth. That is Datca!
