Six persons luxury holiday rental on the beautiful nature park Calluna in Harfsen, near the Gorsselse Heide in the Gelderse Achterhoek. Because our house is located on a 800 m2 parcel, there is a lot of privacy. A true paradise for hikers, cyclists and those seeking rest and relaxation. The bungalow is open for rent all year. You can also rent comfortable bikes and buy the newspaper. On the ground floor the entrance, bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet, double bedroom, living room with half open luxury kitchen. A stairway leads to the first floor with a second toilet and two double bedrooms, one with balcony. Of course there is tv, dvd/blueray and radio/cd player. In addition there are for your comfort a combi microwave/hot air/steam oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi is also available. The bedrooms are each furnished with two single box-spring beds with duvets.
From our holiday home you can take all directions, the beautiful area is ideal for making trips. For example, to the 'Holterberg', or national park 'de Veluwe', along the IJssel Valley or the numerous castles of the Achterhoek. In Gorssel there is a bicycle ferry with which you can cross the IJssel. Recommended are Almen's pool with canoes and water bike rental for a trip on the Berkel. Golf courses are at Lochem and Zelhem. Would you like to go shopping or going out? Cities like Deventer and Zutphen, old Hansa cities, are just a few steps away. Apeldoorn is also not far. There is recommended the monkey Zoo 'de apenheul' with monkey colonies. Also the Royal Palace 'Het Loo' can be visited, followed by the opportunity to take part in a wild rally by the Crown estates. Nice towns to visit? Then you should take a look in Lochem, or in Vorden with his eight castles. Bronkhorst, the smallest city of the Netherlands, is worth to visit.
Coming from the motorway Amersfoort-Hengelo (A1), take the exit Deventer, then drive in the direction of Zutphen. In Eefde go left at the traffic lights, follow sign through traffic. Outside Eefde at junction keep right. Follow Harfsensesteeg (from Eefde there are already signs to Calluna).
