You can live very well in Aurigeno even in rainy weather. The house has lots of games for people of different ages and interests. The library has a wide variety of current authors, a variety of books and picture books about the beauty of the valleys of Ticino, hiking and cultural peculiarities. It is worth to browse and perhaps dare other outings despite wet weather. The soil is sandy and loamy, it is not allowed to be on the road without rubber boots.

The Locarno Film Festival is internationally known and it is an European attraction. Many films pass from the evening presentation to European success. For some unknown authors, Locarno is the beginning of a great career. Visit the Festival web to learn more. If you prefer public transport to travel to Locarno, you can use the bus from the stop Moghegno-Aurigeno (before Maggia Centro), it runs every hour. After the last performance, the bus company (FART) provides enough buses to the Maggia Valley to take safely home all those who don't have a car.

The easiest way to reach the house, it is by car. In Bellinzona South, leave the motorway in the direction of Locarno and run through a tunnel. Continue towards Valli (Cento Valli and the Maggia Valley), and always towards the Maggia Valley.
