The living room has wall to wall carpeting, a cathedral ceiling with fan, a small gas fire for chilly evenings, a large kitchen fully equipped with all sorts of utensils, stove, oven, and full size refrigerator. We wil leave some milk and cereal to get you started. The living room has a futon which can be used for an extra guest. While the bedroom is small, the bed is so comfortable, with monogrammed pillow cases and towels. We have put in a roll out trundle under the bed in which to store your clothes. A lovely walk in shower with shower gell, shampoo and conditioner awaits you in the bathroom. There is a private back garden with lawn chairs, and a patio with a table, chairs and an umbrella.

The New Haven area is a wonderful location. New Haven has many universities, theaters, galleries and historical sights. The small shoreline towns with their historic New England greens or central squares host craft fairs, outdoor concerts, and art shows throughout the summer. There is nothing like a fresh seafood dinner in a shoreline restaurant in the summer. Like to gamble? There are two major casinos in the region, and many outlet stores for those who enjoy shopping.

While Tweed New Haven airport is nearby, many travelers from outside the state fly into Bradley International in Hartford, or the New York Airports and rent a car. We are off Exit 54 of Interstate 95, about 1 1/2 hours from New York or one hour from Hartford.
