The cottages are four one-bedroom cottages that are a part of a private complex located on the sunny south coast of Madeira Island. All have a magnificent view to the Atlantic Ocean.
The cottages offer privacy and tranquility and are surrounded by beautiful gardens. They have the same size and format, which consists of a spacious sitting and dining area. TV with several Dutch, German and English channels. The cottages are also equipped with a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four-burner electric stove, oven-grill, fridge, toaster, electric kettle and a coffee maker. The bedroom has 2 single beds and a spacious wardrobe. The bathroom is en suite with a bath/shower. The mezzanine can be reached via an open staircase, where, if necessary, up to 2 people can sleep. There is one bathroom in each cottage. All cottages have their own private terrace with table, chairs and sun beds. There will be cleaned once a week. There are two towels sets per week. For guests staying longer than one week, the bed linen and towels will be replaced. All cottages are equipped with free Wi-Fi.
The island is famous for its natural beauty and is often called the floating garden of the Atlantic. There is a wide choice to visit gardens and orchids nurseries. Madeira has flowers the whole year round. Several museums for example, let the history of volcanic origin, 14 million years ago, to the landing of the first aircraft at Madeira. There are many churches and chapels all over the island, with a very interesting architecture and decorations. Porto Santo is the sister island of Madeira. Totally different from Madeira primarily very green. Porto Santo has almost no vegetation and the South Coast has a beautiful 9 km long golden sandy beach. It has a lovely small village. It is possible to Porto Santo also to visit for one day. Madeira is a paradise for hikers. The irrigation system goes through man-made channels called levadas, these have a total length of 2150 km. The hiking trails are, for the most part, along the levadas. It is an excellent way to see the beautiful countryside of Madeira. There are easy, medium and difficult walks to do. You can also make boat trips, whale and dolphin spotting. There are dive schools, riding stables and golf courses. Big game fishing and paragliding are also possible here.
Madeira is since long time a very popular holiday location for nature lovers. Tourists come back regularly. The island has a pleasant climate all year round, a particularly beautiful flowers and virtually no crime, making it one of the safest places on earth, where you can still walk around. The village is also known because of the huge variation in fish caught along this coast.
