The cottage was recently refurbished to a particularly high standard retaining much it's original character and charm. Briefly comprises of: Lounge with open fire, leather settee, easy chair & footstool. 32 free view TV & DVD player and dining area that overlooks the internal courtyard. Utility room with washing machine and freezer. Provides secure storage for your bikes, gold clubs and walking gear, etc. Modern kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, integrated fridge, gas hob and electric oven. Fully equipped for all your requirements. An open staircase leads to a mezzanine landing that house a sofa, small library and Bluetooth mini HiFi. This area as far reaching views across the valley and can be used as a quiet reading area. Bathroom with white three piece suite with shower over bath, heated towel rail and shaved point. There are numerous places to eat and drink within a two mile radius, the nearest pub being half a mile from the cottage. Haworth, famous for the literary greats, the Bronte Sisters is only two miles away as is their family home which is now The Bronte Parsonage Museum. The Keighley &Worth Valkey Railway, otherwise known as The Railway Children Line starts in Oxenhope, only half a mile from the Cottage. Skipton, also known as The Gateway to the Dales is in easy reach, as it Saltaire, Keighley, Bradford, Halifax and Hebden Birdge making the Cottage an ideal base for exploring Yorkshire and The Lakes. The property is surrounded by moorland and is situated on the Millenium Way and Pennines Way so is ideal for walkers and cyclists alike. Le Tour de Yorkshire passed our door in July 2014 and Le Tour de Yorkshire will come through Oxenhope in May 2015. Come and enjoy the legacy and cycle the routes in your own time.
