This attractive house was amongst the last of those built of granite stone in this region and the stone in question was salvaged from an old church and an horreo (a former grain store on stilts), which were demolished about forty years ago. The lounge has very pleasant views across the valley and an open fireplace. There is an outside barbecue area, football table, table tennis (bats included) and customary parking available for all customers. There is a car offered (insurance included) to customers over the age of 35 holding a drivers licence. A baby cot and chair is also provided.
The immediate surroundings are farmland and fruit orchards which lie below wooded hill sides. There are some spectacular views from the mountains and the local village is 10 minutes walking distance and has all the facilities, including restaurants, bars, supermarkets, chemists and banks. There are several very beautiful, unspoiled beaches within a short drive and the bustling town of Noia sits at just over 8km away, with its popular Sunday morning market it is a regular meeting place for locals for an aperitif and tapas. Heading in the other direction is the picturesque fishing village of Muros, where seafood lovers would find freshly fished seafood at the market or enjoy seafood cooked in the traditional Galician way. The pedestrian medieval city of Santiago de Compostela is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain and is well worth a day trip; the warm golden granite buildings and long stone arcades make it a very attractive city.
There is a bus stop in the village, 2.5 km away from the house, which connects the village to Muros and Santiago de Compostela (via Noia). There are car rental services in Santiago de Compostela.
