Outside in the garden you can find several sunny as well as shady terraces where you can unwind, enjoy the peace and quiet, have a drink or read a book.

The nearest beaches are just 4 - 5 km away in Olhao and the village of Fuzeta. Fuzeta is still an original fishing village with a beautiful beach and a nice lagoon! A ferry (just 5 min) takes you to a fantastic, miles-long sandy beach on the island on the other side of the lagoon. From Olhao, take the ferry across the lagoon system to one of the many barrier islands, some bustling, some deserted sandy paradises. Near Santa Luzia you can even take a miniature train to one of the islands! The lovely little inland village of Moncarapacho is 4 km away, and Olhao and Fuzeta about 4.5 km. Olhao has an excellent selection of restaurants and fish markets. The lovely town of Tavira, the jewel of the Algarve, is only 10 - 15 min away by car. Most of the attractions of the Algarve (water parks, boat trips, water sports etc) are within 30 min or so. 30 min drive to the east takes you to the border with Spain. Lisbon is about 2.5 hours away by car.
